Siliceous thermal repair material is a malleable refractory made of silica refractory particles and fine powder in proportion to the addition of an appropriate binder. It is mainly used for thermal repair, sealing, and insulation against crown and wall of glass kilns.
Silicon hot supplement is a kind of plastic type unshaped refractory, its main composition is SiO2, using special clinker and a variety of binder and admixture, and made by special process. This product is a kind of siliceous thermal repair material used in the thermal repair of glass melting furnace, hot air furnace and coke oven silicon brick masonry. This product is made of silicon material with scale quartz as the main ingredient, super fine powder with special components in the batching, as well as many kinds of binder and admixture by special process. This product has excellent high temperature resistance, fire resistance, softening point under load, high temperature creep and other high temperature performance indexes, which are much higher than that of silicon brick, and has better corrosion resistance to glass and furnace dust.
This product has a strong bonding ability with brick. It is malleable at room temperature and can be shaped at will. It can be hardened immediately after it is heated and firmly bonded with brick to form a whole structure. Construction is simple, suitable for high temperature repair, greatly improve workers operating conditions.
Features
1. Excellent high temperature resistance, refractoriness, softening temperature under load and other high temperature indicators are better than high quality silicon brick.
2. Good corrosion resistance to glass and alkali dust.
3. The product is processed by special technology, with dense structure after sintering, low porosity, strong thermal shock resistance and stable volume at high temperature. Therefore, the product will not burst or shatter when used in thermal repair, and the structure will not be damaged and repaired due to expansion and fracture caused by SiO2 crystal transformation.
4. The siliceous thermal repair material is malleable and mud-like at room temperature, which can be shaped at will. It hardens immediately after being heated, and sticks firmly with the original brick, and "melts" with the original brick at high temperature to produce high-temperature ceramic bonding, forming a solid overall structure.
