Chemical composition and properties: general requirements: purity should be high and impurities should be extremely low, especially the content of harmful harmful substances should be strictly controlled; the chemical reactivity with the corrosives is low, and have the same (or similar) acidity or alkalinity .
Mineral composition and microstructure: when the content of the crystalline phase in the material is high, the melting point of the crystalline mineral in the matrix is high, the quantity is large, the high-temperature liquid phase is small, the viscosity is large and the dispersion state is shown, it will show a good Chemical resistance.
Porosity: Obvious porosity is a shortcut for the penetration of the erosion material into the material, and can significantly increase the contact area between the erosion material and the material. Viscosity of the erosion material: When the viscosity of the gaseous or liquid erosion material is small, its contact with the surface of the refractory material will be significantly improved, even wrapping the material, making the erosion material easy to penetrate and diffuse into the material. When the viscosity of the erosion material is high, its penetration and diffusion effects are not significant, and sometimes it will prevent further penetration and diffusion into the material. The viscosity of the attack is mainly related to its chemical composition and temperature.
Temperature: When the temperature is higher, it will reduce its chemical resistance. In engineering, proper cooling measures are often adopted for the lining. The main purpose is to reduce the temperature, delay and prevent the erosion of the lining.
Atmosphere: Its chemical resistance is very sensitive to the atmosphere. As in a reducing atmosphere, the resistance of aluminum silicate refractory products to the corrosion of iron oxide-containing slag is significantly reduced.
