Ramming Material
Ramming material refers to an amorphous refractory material constructed by ramming (artificial or mechanical) method and hardened by heating at higher than normal temperature. It is made of refractory aggregate, powder, binder, admixture or other liquid with certain grade. According to the classification of materials, there are high aluminum, clay, magnesium, dolomite, zirconium and silicon carbide – carbon refractory ramming materials. Compared with other amorphous materials, they are dry or semi-dry, and most of them are not bonded before forming, so that only strong pounding can achieve a co

Ramming Material Details
Ramming material refers to an amorphous refractory material constructed by ramming (artificial or mechanical) method and hardened by heating at higher than normal temperature. It is made of refractory aggregate, powder, binder, admixture or other liquid with certain grade. According to the classification of materials, there are high aluminum, clay, magnesium, dolomite, zirconium and silicon carbide - carbon refractory ramming materials.
Compared with other amorphous materials, they are dry or semi-dry, and most of them are not bonded before forming, so that only strong pounding can achieve a compact structure. Compared with castable and plastic, it has higher stability and corrosion resistance at high temperature.
advantage
In addition to the construction at room temperature, when the use of carbon bonded thermoplastic organic material as a binder, the use of hot state mixing method, mixing the mixture evenly immediately after the construction. For the high aluminum, rigid jade and chromium corundum bonded by phosphate, the diluted acid should be stirred at a ratio of 50-60 first, and then the trapped material should be added to the residual acid for 24-40 hours, before construction can be carried out. Baking should be strictly controlled temperature rise, in order to prevent rapid temperature burst.
application
The bulk material is made of silicon carbide, graphite and calcined anthracite as raw materials, mixed with a variety of ultrafine powder additives, and electrofused cement or composite resin as binder. Used for filling furnace cooling equipment and masonry clearance or masonry leveling filler. Its good chemical stability, erosion resistance, wear resistance, spalling resistance, heat shock, widely used in metallurgy, building materials, non-ferrous metal smelting, chemical, machinery and other manufacturing industries!
Acidic, neutral and alkaline ramming material is widely used in the coreless medium frequency furnace, induction furnace, as its intermediate frequency furnace for melting grey cast iron, ductile iron, can be calcined cast iron, vermicular cast iron and cast iron alloy, molten carbon steel, alloy steel, high manganese steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, melted aluminum and its alloy, melting copper, brass, copper and bronze, copper alloy, etc.
