Magnesia Chrome Brick Details
Magnesia Chrome Brick is characterized by a high direct bonding rate and large crystals. It has good resistance to heat flaking. Low alkali neutrality has good slag resistance when repairing low acid feed furnaces. The main raw materials for manufacturing magnesia-chrome bricks are sintered magnesium and chromite. The purity of the magnesium oxide raw material should be as high as possible. The chemical composition requirements of chromite are: Cr 2 O 3: 30-45%, CaO: ≤1.0-1.5%.
Features
Magnesia Chrome Brick has the following characteristics:
Good thermal shock resistance
Excellent slag wear resistance
Good cold compression strength
High temperature resistance and high fire resistance
High-grade chrome ore raw materials
Lower impurity content
Applications
Magnesia Chrome Brick is mainly used in the metallurgical industry, such as the construction of flat-bottom furnace roofs, electric furnace roofs, refining furnaces outside the furnace, and various non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces. The high-temperature part of the wall of the ultra-high power electric furnace is made of fused cast magnesia-chrome bricks, and the high-corrosion area of the external refining furnace is made of synthetic materials. In addition, magnesia-chrome bricks are also used in the cement rotary kiln firing zone and glass kiln regenerators.
