Corundum Brick Details
Corundum Brick is mainly made of calcined alumina, mullite and high purity corundum. These bricks have low porosity, excellent thermal strength and creep resistance as well as good volume stability at high temperature, stable quality and good durability, and can meet the most demanding specifications in various industrial applications.
The product has a compact structure, high compressive strength, high temperature resistance (> 2200℃), good thermal shock stability, resistance to acidic and alkaline gases, and is not affected by reducing gases (such as H2 and Co). High-purity corundum products can also be widely used in petroleum or natural gas gasifiers, ethylene gasifiers, ammonia decomposition furnaces in the petrochemical industry, carbon black reactors in the chemical industry, refractory materials and high-temperature kilns in the ceramic industry.
Features
(1) Corundum Brick has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high fire resistance temperature and high load softening temperature.
(2) It is resistant to chemical corrosion and has a strong resistance to acidic solutions or slag.
(3) O2, H2, CO and other gases are not prone to chemical reactions.
(4) Good thermal stability, stable volume at high temperature, not easy to expand or contract.
(5) It has good thermal shock resistance and is not easily peeled off due to resistance to sudden cold and heat.
(6) This product is resistant to high pressure at room temperature and is not prone to wear during loading and unloading
Applications
Corundum Brick has the following applications:
-Carbon reactor, chemical furnace
-Industrial ceramic kiln, refractory tunnel kiln
-Glass kiln, cement kiln, alumina kiln, heating kiln,
-Steel drum, chemical furnace
-Smelting furnace for non-ferrous metals
Specifications
Alumina contents range from 85% to 99%
Widely used throughout metallurgical industry
