Anti-Slag Castable Details
The performance of the anti-slag castable is due to the magnesium-aluminum spinel component in the castable, which has strong slag resistance and anti-permeability. Moreover, the composite binder of the slag-resistant castable contains reinforcing agents, tackifiers, quick-drying agents, The application of explosion-proof agent and micro-powder technology further enhances the slag-resistant performance of the castables.
Feature
1.Resistance to Slag Erosion:
Anti-slag castables are formulated to resist the corrosive effects of molten slag
2.Low Porosity:Low porosity is a crucial characteristic that helps prevent slag penetration and infiltration into the refractory lining.
3.Thermal Shock Resistance:Anti-slag castables are engineered to withstand rapid temperature changes without cracking or spalling
Application
Adding pyrophyllite to the castable can prevent shrinkage and cracking, mainly improving the creep ability of the castable; it can also reduce the production cost of the castable.
In addition, the performance of the slag-resistant castable does not affect the high-temperature refractory performance, and the porosity is low, which can effectively prevent the stress generated by frequent heat alternation or high temperature for a long time from causing cracks. It can inhibit the penetration of slag and iron into the castable and prevent the oxidation of SiC and C.
The slag-resistant castable product has stable performance and can be used when slag and alkaline erosion are severe. During production, the micro powder is first mixed for 2-3 minutes, then aggregate is added and mixed for 3-5 minutes. It is used at the bottom of the heating furnace or the parts where the iron trench temperature is high and the slag liquid erosion is strong. It can also be used in other parts of the furnace lining where the slag erosion is serious.
