Refractory Cement Details
Refractory cement is made of high-quality bauxite and high-quality lime as raw materials, which are mixed into an appropriate amount of raw material in a certain proportion. After sintering, the clinker with aluminate as the main component is obtained, and then ground into fine powder to make a refractory cement. permanent hydraulic gelling material.
Classification
It can be pided into aluminate refractory cement, low calcium aluminate cement, calcium magnesium aluminate cement and dolomite cement according to different compositions.
It is also called high temperature cement. Cement added with special materials used in the preparation of high temperature resistant (refractory) concrete. There are:
① Low calcium aluminate refractory cement with pure bauxite and limestone as the main raw materials, including French Secar cement.
② Dolomite high-temperature cement made by adding apatite and iron ore as the main raw material.
③ Use materials that can produce chemical reactions and harden at high temperatures, such as refractory sulfates, borates, and phosphates as high-temperature-resistant cements for cementing materials.
Applications
1. It can be mixed with refractory materials with a refractoriness above 1770°C, such as calcined bauxite, high alumina brick fragments, etc., to make refractory concrete or refractory mortar, which is used in some high-temperature kilns as refractory linings and some long-term atmospheric High temperature engineering with rain erosion.
2. It can be made into heat-insulating concrete and heat-resistant concrete with light aggregate.
3. Mix with asbestos to make asbestos cement products with insulation and heat resistance.
