Magnesia Brick Details
Magnesia Brick is made of dense burned-out magnesium oxide, has good fire resistance, corrosion resistance, and is widely used in the inspection room of glass jars, lime kilns, non-ferrous metallurgical furnaces, open furnaces, iron stirrers and electric arc furnaces . Magnesia brick is an alkaline refractory material, which has a strong resistance to alkali slag, but can not resist the erosion of acid slag. At a high temperature of 1600°C, it can react with silica bricks, clay bricks and even high alumina bricks. On the heating furnace and the soaking furnace, they are mainly used for laying the surface layer of the furnace bottom and the bottom of the soaking furnace wall, which can resist the corrosion of scale.
Note
Its resistance to hydration is poor, easy to hydrate in water, and cracks occur, reducing its strength. Therefore, pay attention to moisture, rain and snow during storage and transportation.
Features
1. Magnesia Brick has high refractoriness, usually refractoriness above 2000℃.
2. Good high temperature fire resistance under load
3. Has excellent slag wear resistance and higher bulk density
4. Lower apparent porosity
5. Lower impurity content
Applications
Magnesia Brick is mainly used for furnace lining, furnace bottom and furnace wall, oxygen converter permanent lining, non-ferrous metal smelting furnace, high temperature tunnel kiln, calcined magnesia and cement rotary kiln lining, furnace bottom and furnace wall, glass furnace regenerative lattice Bricks, etc.
